Frame Kids' Art! is a custom framing service specifically for young artists' artwork. We believe it is important to showcase artwork in a way that enhances the artwork and builds self-image as a young artist. Custom framing artwork helps kids believe in their talent. Frame Kids' Art! showcases creative expression by giving the artwork the home it deserves, and by adding beauty to an original that is truly one-of-a-kind.
Giving Back
At Frame Kids’ Art! we believe in the lasting effects of the arts on creativity and self-confidence. For this reason, a portion of every order we receive through efforts from one of our non-profit referral sources is donated back to the non-profit. Additionally, a portion of every direct order sale is available to be donated to a non-profit of the customer's choice.
History
Frame Kids' Art! was started by Jennette Wilch. The concept of offering affordable custom framing specifically for young artists' artwork came about due to a need. Jennette, and her husband Brian, have four children, all of which are interested in expressing their creativity through art.
When Lucas, the Wilch's second son, was 6 years old he brought home a Mother's Day project he made in Kindergarten (see photo at left with Jennette and her Mother's Day "Bouquet"). Jennette believed the artwork needed a special home but when she priced having the piece custom-framed she received quotes starting at $110 for a simple frame and mat. That was when Jennette decided there had to be a way to provide custom framing for kids' artwork at more reasonable prices.
And that's what she is doing with Frame Kids' Art!
Jennette holds a B.S. in Education, and a M.A. in CTE.
